The Musicians Gear Double Pop Filter is a pro-level split screen pop blocker that removes unwanted "P" and "B" consonant plosives by providing open space between the two screens. The first screen diffuses the air that causes plosive consonants, the open space between the screens disperses air pressure, and the pop filters second screen disperses the air and removes any remaining plosive consonants. The Musicians Gear Double Pop Filter features a sophisticated design that removes any air pressure and is very effective in filtering wind-caused plosives.

What Can I say? It works. I'm satisfied
The way I would rate whether a product is good or not, ideally, is if I continue to use it and if it is a product I would recommend. Well, this popfilter is bittersweet for me, because it broke... way too easily. Which was extremely upsetting, and honestly, I feel reluctant about buying another one only because I know it is likely to break again within a year or so. The part which holds it in place is made of cheap plastic and it's extremely easy to break. But that's where the problems end. Because I am going to have to make a new standard for what makes a great product -- If I am willing to buy another one after it has broken. And for this filter, I definitely am. The double-filter is especially useful because it seems to trap wind within it -- so the Plosives are removed (obviously) but ALSO any breath or blowing. You could blow right into this filter and NO CLIPPING at all occurs. I don't think regular single-pop-filters do this. ALSO.. extremely affordable. So I could buy 3 of these and still not have paid as much as some of those overpriced ones which, in my opinion, aren't even very effective. Go for it, buy it, but take care of it and don't abuse it -- it can't handle abuse.
This double filter was absolutely the best for the price. I didn't want to pay for metal, as the greatest advantage for metal was ease of cleaning, and a subjective opinion that it was better at blocking plosives. This filter will do just great for most folks, I'm sure. I'd only go with metal if you needed the durability. Dual shields properly protect the mic against corrosive spit and annoying plosives. The only beef I have with it is that the weight of filter seems a bit much for the flexible neck, and you have carefully put it in position. It also can be adjusted a little too easily. But I'd take that over it being too difficult to position. Once I got it into place, it worked perfectly.
Used it several times already for voice recording and it makes all the difference.
Very nice pop filter, The Musicians gear double pop filter features a sophisticated design that removes any air pressure that can build up in hoop style pop filter and is very effective in filtering out any p and s plosives.
Plain and simple. I am a teenager that records a one-man rock band, and for my studio i needed a cheap pop filter due to a budget, I picked this one. It may not be the best but it is worth it for the money!
No complaints. Does the job well, filter stays in place. Great investment for even the casual recorder
This double filter meets my expectations. My recordings have a nice, clean vocal sound. No pops or hisses. My only disappointment--The local GC never carries what I want. I always have to order on line to have the right product. I always check the store first, hoping I won't have to wait for a shipment, the items are just not there.
I had been using a metal Steadman Pop filter but was getting some plosive probs. Tried this one. Its Great! Test it yourself, blow into an ordinary pop filter and put your hand behind it. Then blow into the new double pop filter. Nothing, you can't even feel your breath. Solid construction, attachment grommet works great. A real winner!
No pops from the P's and B's on my recordings with this filter, best for the price, BE VERY CAREFUL with the screen, it's very thin, will be easily punctured if you aren't cautious and light handed, i'm expecting a hole in it one day.. i can see where metal screen pop filters beat this one, just leave it attached to the mic stand and don't swing any pointed objects around it and you'll be fine, buy it now
