Looks great, well made and a very nice price. I don't tour, so I don't need a case to stand up to airports. Inside is plush and will keep your bass very comfortable. It will fit my p-bass clone with standard strap pegs, not with straplocks. Just have to remove the strap and it fits snug, no shifting around. If you need a good case for going to lessons, garageband practice or just storing your bass, this is the case you want at a good price.

Good for the price

By Jim

from Haverhill, MA

Let's face it, this is the least expensive hard shell case you are going to find. It protects your bass better than a gig bag. I would never use this for a road case, it would fall apart by the time you hit the fourth city on a tour. However, for storing that extra guitar under the bed or in your basement - this does the trick. Plenty of room for extra strap, picks, strings, etc. But the construction and hardware is "C" grade instead of the heavy duty stuff you'll find on an ATA or Fender case, but they cost two or three times more money. I give it four stars for value, but it's really a two star case.

Musician's Gear Hard-shell Bass Case

By Brennan

from Weatherford, OK

For the money, this case is great. It fits my Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass perfectly. I don't gig very much, just mainly play praise and worship at my church, and the case stands up well. For a hard-gigging musician, however, you might consider Fender's case. It's more expensive, but will probably stand up to the rigors of the road much better. Overall 4/5 stars on this great money-friendly case.

Good light duty case

By Mark Franzen

from Grafton, WI

I have a Squier Jaguar and it just fits in this case. The top strap button rubs going in, but it does fit. It may wear the fabric after time, but I don't take it in and out on a daily basis. I don't know that I would want this case for gigging or traveling, but for storage and taking to a lesson or buddy's house, it is excellent. I purchased the tweed version for my Strat and loved it, so I tried this for my bass and it is exactly what I need. If you don't need a heavy duty traveling case, this is a great case for a great price.

What a deal!!

By Richard Tallman

A well-built and affordable case. A velcro neck strap at the neck holder would make this case perfect.

A Great Deal - Perfect for all but the most demanding situations

By Michael Baker

from Falls Church, Virginia

For just a little more than a good gig bag you get a nice case. While it isn't up to touring the country on planes, it isn't priced or sold as such. But for home storage, local gigs and such, it is perfect. Well built and solid the only thing that could be better is the neck rest - a little soft. But that is easily addressed. Highly recommended!!!

Case in a pinch

By Donald Paulin

from Pawtucket, RI

If you are looking for a case just to keep your bass from getting damaged, this will work. It is light, fairly sturdy, and offers protection inside and out. If you are gigging and other people will be handling your equipment, you may want to spend a bit more money and get a more hefty case. Great for the price though!

Poor Quality

By Nicole Estes

from Birmingham AL

Purchased this case for my son less than a year ago. It is already falling apart. The back panel has separated from the side, the locking mechanisms fell off and the panel the handle is on is about to come off. Didn't expect it to last forever; however, I did expect more than a year out of it

The Case for your Bass

Fits my Washburn Stu Hamm bass perfectly. Also worked well for a Squier Jaguar VM.

Great value case

By Glenn Weatherspoon

from Galt's Gulch

True, it's a budget hard case, but it gets the job done. This case provides better protection than a gig bag for about the same price. In my experience the following basses fit it well: OLP MM Stingray, Washburn T14, Squier VM Jaguar.

Not bad for a cheap case

By Byungsoo Kook

from Centreville, VA

I originally ordered tweed because of the look, but it on back order for 2 weeks. So, I settle for the black one. Very cheap material, cannot say anything about tweed version, but the hinges and locks are very thin and looks very cheap but it will do the job. The other reason I got this case was because it has unusually deep cavity for a very thin case. I am definitely not going to take this case on road trip, because I am afraid it will break. I am simply using this as a storage for my bass. Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you can, get Music Man 5983 Hardshell Guitar Case. You will have no problem taking that case on a trip.
