My experience pretty much echos all the other reviews. This stand is sturdy and easy to set up and is reasonably priced. The adjustments allow you to set the amplifier at three different levels, and a fourth, lower level, if you slide the arms all the way down. However, if you assemble the top of the stand like it is shown in the website display picture (short arms on bottom) the center of gravity will be forward of the A-frame base and the stand will easily tip forward. I believe the correct assembly is to turn the top arms around so that the longer arm is under the amplifier. Unless your amplifier is very tall, you should follow my recommendation for the best stability, or at least try it both ways and check for tipping. You will probably also like the angle the amplifier is held at better with the longer arms on bottom.

does the job. It's sturdy and portable. But...... I wanted something that points the amp at different angles, or at least at more of an angle than this one. It's still blasting out certain folks in the line of fire and I'd like to point it a little more at the ceiling, or better yet, choose my angle at each gig depending on the situation. The price was great, and at least I can access my dials now without bending over or using a chair.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I definatly thought this was not going to be as good as it sounded but it definatly was WAY more than i expected. I have a Laney LV twin a combo amp with 2x12" and i feel very secure putting up on this stand if your thinking about buying one and dont want to spend a lot buy this its just as good if not better than the more expensive ones!!

A very sturdy amp stand.

By TacoMan

from Delbocavista, Florida

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

This amp stand was an excellent investment. It goes together and comes apart very fast and is much more solid than I expected for the money. My Fender Acoustasonic DSP Jr fits perfectly on it and the angle is ideal. Elevating the amp off the ground has improved the sound of the amp as well. Vocals and mid-to-highs seem much more alive and bright.

Fantastic amp stand for the price.

By Anton

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I think my review title says it all. The stands are simple, well made and should certainly go the distance. Compared to the various other stands that I looked at these were by far the most durable but also excellent value.

Great Value!!!

By John West

from Wilmington, NC

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I usually don't write reviews, but had to on this purchase. This stand is really nice. If I had paid twice as much for it, I would still be happy. It's really solid. I have a little Marshall 30-watt practice amp on it now, but it could easily hold an amp twice or three times the size. Simple to assemble (just three parts) and very solid. Highly recommend.

Amp Stand is as Good as Advertised

By Greg

from Garland, TX

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I was a little skeptical about how sturdy the stand would be. I put my Line 6 Spider Valve 112 amp on it and I have no fear of it falling off. The stand is great for me because the Spider Valve Amp requires a lot of hands-on time even with the floor pedal. The stand allows me to make adjustments without having to bend over and worry about my guitar falling off or banging into things. It also allows you to hear the amp better. It is a real bargain!

Great Stands!

By Uncle Don

from Fairport, NY

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

You just can't beat these stands (but if you did, they can take it)! Very easy to set up, and my Fender amps look and sound great on them. I did like someone suggested and assembled them with the long part of the "arms" on the bottom, which allows the majority of the amp's weight to be centered over the legs. These stands are not only functional, they add greatly to the professional stage image as well. Very nice!

Amp Stand

By Tim

from Glen Burnie, MD

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

Good quality stand and a very good price. It has three positions for amp. Only problem is it is very unstable at the top two positions on carpet. It will fall forward. At the bottom position it is kinda stable. Still a good value but be careful with the surface you will be using it on.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I was really impressed with this stand...it's sturdy, provides the perfect angle for where I'm positioned (in between stands of an l-shaped keyboard rig) and exceptionally well-built...I would definitely purchase this stand again...

Great for the price

By Roger

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I use this for a Peavey VK112 (about 45 pounds). It stays in my basement for jam sesions. It works perfect for this. I'm not sure it could handle a heavy amp and a lot of stage set-ups.

Incredible bargain!

By JK

from Stevens Point, WI

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I had been looking for an amp stand for a while and couldn't believe the value for the price. Very sturdy and versatile. I use this stand both for an amp and as a tilt-back stand for a powered mixer or other equipment. It's easier to see the settings at a glance with the added angle. I added some anti-skid tape to the arms to prevent slipping or shifting of my equipment - just in case.

Nice!

By R. Phillips

from Fort Wayne,In.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I was looking for a affordable amp. stand so I decicded to order this one even though I was told that it had bad welds and was a really cheap second rate product that Guitar Center does not carry in their stores(only on line.) I ordered it anyway and it has been just what the doctor ordered. For the price you really cant go wrong...sure there are better ones out there if you want to pay twice the price, but if you just need a stand to hold your 100lb amp.this one works good.It also folds down and you can put in your truck with ease.Solid steel construction with different height ajustments that work well. Well worth the price!!

Musicians Gear Deluxe amp Stand

By Dave DeNinno

from Boise, Idaho

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

Great stand. I have a Fender Acoustasonic Jr. ,and it fits perfectly on the stand. I reversed the arms, so that the longer arms sit under the bottom of the amp to avoid tilting. I've looked at the more expensive stands, and this one beat them out. If used properly there shouldn't be any problems. I would recommend purchasing this one.

Great Stand

By Tom

from Chandler, Arizona

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I am extremely happy with this stand. Built heavy duty but light enough to transport. The finish looks like powder coat not just paint and is high quality. I have it in my music room and it's holding a Line 6 spider jam just fine. Only improvement might be to have a lower height setting. I highly recommend

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

Nice amp stand. I am using it on a smaller Fender G-Dec 15 amp, and it is a pleasure to scroll through all the adjustment screens with the controls at table height. Better than expected. I did add a board between the upper arms and the back of the amp, so it would be supporting and flush to the main frame of the amp, rather than be in the center, no big deal. Also agree with everyone else that the photo is wrong, as the longer arms should be on the bottom, otherwise the center of gravity is way too forward and it is very tippy. Very satified with this product.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

The first comment was correct in my opinion...That the photo shows the Amp support arms on wrong. The LONGER portion of the arm should be at the bottom where the amp sits, otherwise it tips foreward. That being said, the correct setting will allow you to stand on top of the stand,it's STURDY! This is a GREAT STAND !It was inexpensive & a very GOOD deal $ This is one of those rare times when you get more than you pay for.Perfect for stage or bedroom.Nice black finish,3 positions,I put a small piece of black carpet under mine.Get out & buy this product,I've seen more expensive but not better.Thank You Guitar Center !

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I got this stand for my Acoustic G100FX. I set it up and tried it on all the height adjustment positions with this amp. I am using the lowest setting because it is a lot more stable this way for this size amp. I also have a Fender Frontman 25 that i need another stand for and this is the one i am getting and again I will use the same setting since it seems to work best for me and it will be more stable to do so at this height. That is THE best setting i think the lowest notch. The price is great and most musicians can afford this stand. I would say it is a great piece of gear to have for your amp. The angle is good so you can hear it and with the amp off the ground it allows your speakers the breathe. this is an improvement of your sound on stage and to your audience. you will notice an improvement as soon as you set this up and play. YES, get an amp stand and if you want to save some cash get this one.

Not shabby at all

By Lifeseeker

from Middle Village, NY

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

This Amp stand is not bad at all for the price. Quality is very good, and you can put the amp pretty high to project your sound. I put my 'Fender R212' amp on this and it held very well.
