Affordable and sturdy
I ordered this stand for use with the game "Rock Band" because I needed a mic stand that would allow me to sing while I played guitar or drums. I didn't want to spend a lot on hardware for a game so this product was perfect. It can be easily adjusted to a comfortable position and folds up easily for transportation and storage.
I'm not a "real" musician so I can't say how suitable it would be for those purposes but it's exactly what I needed.

Much better than I expected
For the price I was expecting something flimsy that would be barely adequate. I was surprised at how nice of a stand this is. Note, that no Mic clip is included with the boom.

Musician's Gear Mic Stand
I bought this stand to complete my home recording studio. As the description states it is very stable and feels like it can take a beating. The threaded adapter worked perfectly with my Blue Snowball. Very easy to adjust with the clamps, but I still feel like there should be a way to get the mic closer to where I need it. All in all, i am very happy with this stand.

Great stand!!
It's perfect. Stable, but easily moveable. Cheap, but good quality. Light, but not flimsy.
Deffinatly worth the cost!

Pleasantly surprised
I wasn't expecting much for such a cheap stand, but it's sturdier than I expected and as adjustable as you'd expect a boom mic stand to be. I'd recommend this to anyone that is looking for this type of stand. It's nice that it folds up as well (and doesn't roll around in the back of your car like the rounded base does).

A must for Drummers
This Telescoping boom stand is a must for any
musician. I found that being a drummer it has the
capabilities of reaching me in tight situations.

Great stand.
Its a solid stand. Worth the money. Parts are good and strong, not cheap and flimsy. I honestly don't know how this stand could get any better, unless it had a bunch of extra features and was made out of some new material or something. BUt come on, its just a stand. It works great. good price and good investment. quality.

Gets the job done
It's nothing flashy and yes, it does look thin comparatively, but it gets the job done. I bought two and use them to hold up some condenser mics as overheads and on amps. I left them above my kit for about 2 weeks as I recorded and they didn't seem to slip at all. I never had to adjust them because of slipping. While using these to hold up over head mics I noticed that they stood a little crooked with the boom arm extended, but it wasn't a bad thing. I would recommend this stand for studio work, but performers may need something more sturdy.
