Needed a replacement stand for my studio mics- I had a cheaper stand that came apart during a session. I had already purchased a K&M boom arm from an *auction site*, so I only needed a stand. This works great... and I can pack it away when I'm done.
If you want a good basic mic stand without a boom that doesn't cost a lot, this is it. It's light, sturdy, and stable, and it sets up or folds up to go in seconds. I also bought the ProLine rubber mic clip to go with it. Works great!
Absolutely wonderful mic stands. They are sturdy, heavy, and have no trouble holding our equipment.
