The Musician's Gear Triple Guitar Hanger is a great way to line up securely 3 of your favorite guitars. The single solid-wood plank is easily fixed to your wall using the 3 pre-drilled screw holes. Spaced 16" apart, these holes should line up with most wall studs. The metal hangers are covered with a soft material where it counts and screw into the mounted plank swiftly.
I bought two of these for my son's (and my) guitars. They went up easy. The screw holes are on perfect 16" centers - so you can hit a stud with each screw - unless your wall has something different going on with the stud spacing. But 16" centers have been the standard for at least 50 years. One note if you are putting up two like I did. You cant go from the end of one to the very next stud for the second hanger. If you do (and I did), the hangers on the ends that are next to each other are too close and the guitars will touch. You have to go 2 studs over - or, as I did, I measure over the distance of the hangers and mounted the second one so that the spacing of all 6 hangers was equal. You will have to use the sheetrock mounts to do that - but they are provided and feel very secure.
It's very nice and looks sleek and clean on the wall as opposed to 3 separate hooks...having to make sure they're all level, etc. We love it!
