This boom arm is a great deal, considering its great stability and strength. The adjustable length of the boom is an added plus that you wouldn?t expect from a $15 arm. For the price they?re selling it at, this thing is so much of a steal, I?m afraid that the police are going to show up at my door sometime soon to take it back to GC. Don?t even bother with the other booms. You?ve found the only one you ever need.
All those straight stands that don't help you much when you are recording or when you need to mic a drum kit and all manner of other things and you can't because your darn stand just goes shoots upwards, this boom fixes all of that. Very sturdy, very easy to use and attach, I love it! Buy one!
Need a replacement boom? Why pay 20-30 dollars when you can pay 10.There is only one weakness to these booms that I could find, the factory goes very light on thier liquid welds where the mic clip screws on so check each end thoroughly.Nothing a 5 dollar tube of jb weld can't quickly and perminantly fix.So order a bunch of these and remember to "check your ends kids".
