I bought this pickup originally to replace the neck pickup on my guitar. The pickup is meant for the bridge position, but in the neck position it sounds real hot and give me a great lead sound for scale runs and appegios. I just bought this pickup as well for my friend's new Fender Squire Bullet(which in my opinion is the cheapest, but also the worst sounding big name brand guitar you can buy). When I replaced the bridge pickup with this one the sound was 100 times better than the stock pickup that came on the brigde position. I would recommend this pickup for a cheaper model guitars that only has single coils if you want a good bridge pickup or for a more serious musician I think it makes a great neck pickup for smoother lead sounds or clean channel sounds. To install this pickup you need to know how to solder, but the instructions are easy to follow.
I can't recommend this pick up enough. It sounds amazing I used to use the Dimarzio Fast track2 dp182 model pickups in the bridge position of my strats and I love that pickup but this scorcher is as good if not better. Its price is less than half the price. you cant go wrong with this pick up I plan to get another one.
I've tried them all. the hotrails, the lace senser, even the the screamin' demon. THIS is the replacement pick-up for your strats! warm when you need it and spanky with a punch when you just want to rip thru the leads!!!
