The practical, height-adjustable Musician's Gear SMS-6000 Monitor Stand is a near-field monitor stand with a stable 3-point triangle base and leveling floor spikes. I picked up these stands on a buy on get one free for $69.98 deal. For the money, they are good sturdy stands and do a great job holding up my monitors. My shipment was missing one of the bolts/washers packs (I have read about this happening to other people too), but customer service at Guitar Center came through very well! I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
