Here's a heavy duty black microphone grip with plastic mic swivel retainer and brass insert.

Decent clip but a little thin and the plastic is somewhat brittle. I held onto it to hold the mic stand when I was tightening it and the clip broke apart. My fault but a little thicker or more flexible and it would not have broken.
If you need to hold a standard-size microphone on a mic stand, this will work just fine. I use one for both recording on my PC (with a real microphone) and one for the Rock Band microphone, so yes, the Rock Band mic is standard size and will fit this clip.
When I put an SM-58 in it, it barely fits. The clip is HUGE! It's ok I guess. It works, but the mic is in all the way. I wish it was a little bit smaller.
