These strings are great for the price, they retain their sound for a long time. why spend more money on strings.

  • Good Value, Questionable Materials

As reviewed by Boyd on 7/6/2011

I think these are a good value bass string with good tone. The only drawback I found is they will leave alot of black residue on your fingers and I have dry hands, not sweaty hands and fingers which are known to wreak havok on strings. I play professionally 4 times a week and found this to be an issue as nickle is a poisonous metal in large quantities so if you are playing alot like myself I began to be concerned. I wonder if there is there such a thing as poor quality nickle as I can almost bet they are manufactured in China.
