  • Nice Case but not a perfect fit

As reviewed by Juan Lopez on 7/17/2009

Nice price break point, as noted in previous reviews, nothing beats this cases in the same price range. As good looking as my other LP SKB Cases (thinner Shell in this one, but, who cares?), perfect for storage and light transportation duties. Something I didn't like was that is not a perfect fit for a Les Paul as stated, the guitar rest point us the NECK, which in my opinion at some point could damage the guitar inside the case, the body does not rest flat at the bottom of the case, you can slip a cloth (or as in my case, foam) to reduce the gap and let the guitar rest in the body and the neck be supported by the case. Overall... I loved to pay a really low price for a cozy storage case for my guitar. Well, those are my 5 cents. Cheers

  • You Get What You Pay For.

As reviewed by Clements on 10/13/2008

About 3 months ago I bought a Les Paul Standard. I knew that in the future I would be taking this guitar all over and--I was right. First off let me say that this is a good case for the money. It is inexpensive, and the outside is fairly tough. The insode is soft, but more like carpet with a firm foam backing. (You Can push in on the hard parts of the case's interior) The Case has a couple of issues: It has a keyhole that is totally pointless, and includes no key, and the 2 ribs on either side of the case get out of line easily, so it requires more effort to shut, because you have to snap them together. I will say it marks easily on the outside, but other than that it is a good case. Holds the Les Paul PERFECTLY. Not a single mm to go. there is enough room in the head compartment to fold up your strap and store it there, but you have to take off the strap vefore the LP will fit inside. I reccommend it.
