This hardshell guitar case features 5-ply wood construction, plush lining, gold-plated steel hardware, and a molded plastic handle. Tough textured vinyl surface.
I found the Musician's Gear Deluxe SGS Hardshell Case to be more than adequate protection for my SG. It hits my SG like a glove and has plenty of storage for extra strings, polish, wipe down cloths, capo, and picks. It is very sturdy, with heavy duty catches in which one is locking. The plush interior is soft with no inside shell exposed. This is a fantastic bargin for any one that likes to protect their guitar at home or at gigs. This is a real bang for the buck. I would buy the more expensive one if you have to put your guitar in airline storage on planes, but very good for on the road gigs. At this price you can buy with confidence
This is a great case for a great price. never failed on me once. The compartment inside is perfect for putting my wipe-down cloth, ebow, tuner, and extra strings in. plus there is room for me to keep my strap on the guitar while its in the case. If there is one thing wrong with this case it is that the handle is misplaced slightly. So it is slighty awkward to carry, but you probably won't even notice. I still highly recomend it.
These are great cases! this the second 1 I have purchased (got the other for a les Paul) they look good are made well and at a lot less money than most cases out there in fact I have seen gig bags sold for more. This is a lined hard shell case and a nice 1 at that. As I said this is the second 1 I bought and they fit the guitars so well plus there is small storage space that you can keep your picks, string winder, and strap. I am very pleased with both cases and will certainly buy another when the need arises!
