This banjo case is designed to fit all standard 4- and 5-string banjos. Features textured black vinyl covering, 5-ply wood construction, black plush lining, gold-plated hardware, interior accessory compartment, and locking fasteners.
This case is fine for players who do not travel frequently with their banjo. It doesn't feel flimsy, but it's not as solid as a more expensive case either. Like other reviewers mentioned, the neck rest was too high for my banjo, but removing the set of screws closest to the handle let me remove the foam block and trim it about 1/4 inch. Perfect.
As far as the case, hardware, lining, etc goes, you can't do better for the price. One slight problem I have is that the back of my banjo sits too deep in the pocket, which causes the neck to press up against the top up near the head. It's not a lot of pressure, but enough to worry me. Easy fix though - throw a towel under you banjo and she sits flush and pretty!
Love the case. It protects the banjo perfectly. Makes it a bit heavy and slightly awkward to carry, but what musical instrument case doesn't besides a soft bag and then you don't have sufficient protection. Also, the shipping was great. It came very fast.
