The steel bookplate on the conductor's stand has a return lip with tilting feature, which is removable from the vertical shaft. 18-3/4"W x 13-1/2"H book plate with a 2" lip, 24"-45" adjustable height, 18" base spread, and 1-3/16 center shaft.
I searched through numerous reviews and even visited a few stores prior to purchasing this stand. I must say, I certainly made a great choice. This stand has a solid base and cannot be knocked over easily. It has a full range of adjustability for the height and table angle. I like the large size of the table, as it allows me to put even the largest of books on it, yet still remains firm. Excellent buy!!
This is a very sturdy music stand, great build. definitely will hold any book you throw on it, even works great to place a laptop on. The only thing i would say against it is that its a tad bigger than expected. The base folds up, but the top is rather large and is not all that portable as a whole.
Great stand. I received this for my birthday. I put those big thick books on it and it holds them very solid. Nice and easy to adjust and seems durable. Good solid stand.
