Our Deluxe Banjo Bag has a tough, gray/blue nylon twill exterior, 70-denier, no-scratch lining, and 25mm of high-density padding. The case also features two shoulder straps and a luggage tag.
I was very disappointed in this gig bag. The outside fabric not only is an obnoxious greenish color but very thin it doesn't appear to be very durable. There are no storage pockets or compartments for picks or supplies on this bag. The only reason this bag rated 2 stars from me is that the inside padding is adequate. I returned the bag and will replace it with one that has a more durable outside fabric and pockets!
Got this bag for my Goldtone banjo and I'm very pleased. The bag looks really nice and seems to be well crafted. I'm a Worship Leader at a church in Michigan so I don't travel too much with the banjo, it stays in my office, but I needed something from here to there on occasion; this seems to be a good fit. It's a sharp little bag and the price is right.
This gig bag is well pretty well padded and provides slightly better than average protection for a gig bag. The only real issue I have with it is that there are no pockets. A gig bag needs pockets for picks, extra strings, song lists, songs books and the various other detritus that a musician collects. There is not a single pocket on this thing. This knocks down the rating for me.
