Black powder-coated metal construction with rubber feet. Adjustable at three heights from the floor to the bottom back corner of the amp: 14-1/4", 17" and 19-1/2". Locking pins add extra security.
I only needed this for my practice space and was worried that the width of the support arms might not be wide enough to support my Line 6 Spider IV practice amp. It did. The support arms are approximately 12 inches wide so it will work perfectly for a small practice amp that is atleast 12 inches wide. Good to know before you buy. Damned sturdy and really helps to throw the sound into your face while playing a small amp. Would buy again and will be buying more for others Christmas gifts. Very impressive and practical for the $.
I was really impressed with this stand...it's sturdy, provides the perfect angle for where I'm positioned (in between stands of an l-shaped keyboard rig) and exceptionally well-built...I would definitely purchase this stand again...
I use this for a Peavey VK112 (about 45 pounds). It stays in my basement for jam sesions. It works perfect for this. I'm not sure it could handle a heavy amp and a lot of stage set-ups.
