This heavy-duty, 14-gauge banana plug to 1/4" cable features a rugged rubber-insulated exterior and gold-plated tips on the 1/4" jack.
Rather cheaply made cable, the banana clips are just held on by a screw instead of being fixed on the end. The quarter inch end did not fit into a jack at first, had to cut away some excess plastic between the sleeve and tip then it worked fine. Heavy duty cable is a good thing, also its much cheaper than the alternatives so I really can't complain.
The 1/4" end of the cable didn't seem to pop into my cabinet very tight at all. It makes the connection fine, I just worry that eventually it won't but maybe it will last forever, we'll see. The construction of this cable seems good, I did have to put the positive wire back in the plug and screw it tight, but this type of plug makes it easy to work with. All in all, decent cable.
