This tortoise shell pickguard basically works like a sticker. Peel off the paper on the back and affix it to a dreadnought acoustic guitar. The pickguard can also be cut to fit smaller sound holes.
This pickguard has a soundhole radius of 2.5". It fits the outside of a herringbone rosette well. Color is a mix of red, burnt orange, amber, brown and dark gray; I only wish it were darker and included black hues. The beveled edge gives a very high quality look. This pickguard is well worth the small cost.
I just bought a small acoustic guitar but realized that it did not have a pickguard. I decided to try this product and it worked fine. The pickguard adjusts to any size acousitc guitar, and if you have a small guitar you just need to cut the guard with some scissors and PRESTO!! it's a perfect fit. I recommend this to anyone who has a guard-less guitar. Protect your wood; buy this product.
