an inexpensive yet wonderful carrying case for my giging mics. Just what I needed at a great price
I bought this bag because I keep putting off building a mic locker. It is constructed of very sturdy ripstop nylon, with a robust zipper. The foam is permanently glued into the nylon shell, so it is not replaceable. The foam is cut for SM58 shaped mics, but works well for SM57 and short mics such as the Audix D1. The Audix D6 is too large, but fits into the front pocket nicely. The only stupid part of the design is the foam in the top cover is too close to the mic tops. This puts significant tension on the top and its zipper. The hand straps and optional shoulder strap both work well. I would buy this bag again.
Bag is constructed well but I'm approaching 12 mikes--58's and sennheiser's among them and the top flap is getting real tight to zip closed over them--becoming very tight across the tops of the windscreens--seems ok for now--we'll see under fire--might have considered a hard case a little more...
