  • Not worth the money

    My son bought the AC/DC Guitar Kit for me For Christmas.I own many Instuctional guitar dvd's and this one is one of the very worst.It is supposed to teach you note for note but only goes over bits and pieces of the songs.A much better choice for someone interested in AC/DC would be "Learn to play AC/DC" from Lick Library.

  • Excellent Video

    I disagree with the previous reviewer who said this DVD was a waste of time because it didn't cover the entire song. I think this was actually the strong point of the DVD. They approached the song just as you would with sheet music in hand and looked at the main riffs and rhythms bar by bar and showed you how to play them both rhythmically, and melodically and they threw in plenty of real practical tips on how to make those bars come alive. Once you mastered the key bars in the sheet music, playing the entire song is pretty much just applying what you learned with minor variations. The DVD is excellent quality, the lessons are well organized, and the instructors are quite good. I've seen many Lick Library DVD's and they are quite good as well ... but this is a bit different and definitely on a par with them ... (sheet music is included!)
