Comments about Music Nomad All in 1 String, Surface and Hardware Cleaning Tool:
This thing is definitely handy for cleaning between the strings & fingerboard. Typically that is where I see the most grime build up, and the shape of this tool is great for that use case. The brush is also good for dusting hard to reach nooks & crannies.
I took away 2 stars because I think there is room for improvement in this device. The microfiber cloth is attached to the plastic handle with some kind of glue/adhesive. I use Dunlop Ultraglide 65 string cleaner along with this tool, which is a problem because once enough of the string cleaner gets on the microfiber cloth, it acts as a solvent and dissolves the glue in the cloth backing. The end result is that the microfiber cloth becomes detached from the plastic handle. Have to reattach it with a different kind of glue that the string cleaner will not dissolve. Would be nice if the manufacturer did this -- used an adhesive that was not dissolved by popular string cleaning products like ultraglide. Even if it made the product a little more expensive, I would pay more to not have to fix it myself when this happens.
It is also not clear on how to "clean the cleaner". The microfiber cloth eventually gets dirty from all of the dirt it transfers off of your instrument, but it is not clear how to transfer the dirt off of the cloth.
