Played many bass guitars in my time. The Sting Ray frettless very nice and smooth no clanks or rings nice low bottom very easy to use without the frets.just a little practice needed then your dead on.I strongly recomend it will take your Bass playing to next level. The price is good for the quality of the guitar. Thanks to Ernie Ball.PS you will need to get flat wound strings if you like to keep a nice fret board.
I recieved my order, and was very pleased with the immediate playability of the Stingray. It has been hard to put it down. The action is superb, from the headstock to the body. The rosewood fingerboard is beautiful, as well as very functional. It allows for a smooth slide from the first fret, all the way down the neck, without loosing any tone quality. I would definately recommend this bass to any enthusiast

Played many basses in my time the Stingray Fretless opens new doors of bass playing very easy to get use to. great built in eq nice pickup after playing a fretless its very hard going back to a fretted board. thanks to ernie ball.
