Product Information

It's more compact than the StingRay but still has the sting.

The Music Man Sterling 4-String Electric Bass has a similar shape to the Stingray, but is shorter and narrower, while the neck remains basically the same (34" scale, 11" radius). It also features hot-rodded electronics: active 3-band preamp, a Music Man humbucker/piezo bridge with hum cancelling phantom coil, and unique 3-way switching (both coils in series mode, single coil, and both coils in parallel mode). Schaller BM tapered-post tuners. Volume, treble, mid, bass controls.

Great looking bass with all the sounds you could ever want. Order today.

My sterling, my baby!

I got my sterling about two years ago. I cannot give enough praise to this bass. I played many other high-end basses before I selected sterling. It plays like butter and has a very warm, deep, rich sound. It slaps like a dream. It also holds tune better than any instrument I have ever played. I play mine with elixir strings, they seem to have the best sound, some of the Ernie Ball strings sound great too, but I like it best with the feel of the elixir's. I highly recommend the Music Man Sterling and at the present time, I have no complaints.

Ernie Ball - Balls To The Wall

I recently bought my Sterling...I came from playing an Epiphone Les Paul Special, which i did like very much, but coming from a low-end bass to a high-end I am very pleased. There's no comparison between the tone i get from this bass and the Les Paul Special. Awesome highs, and if I want, thundering lows.It stays in tune great, the rest of the electronics are top of the line, what more could I ask for! This guitar is simply the best that money can buy (in my opinion) other than an ORIGINAL '69 Fender Jazz - that's saying something if a bass actually compares to a bass of that caliber...When you want to play balls to the wall reach for an Ernie Ball Sterling next time you visit Guitar Center.
