This is a real Music Man bass for half the price of a Classic Sabre or a StingRay. It is equipped with all of the essentials and foregoes a few luxuries. Mainly it is a Music Man bass through and through in terms of its signature sturdy construction and thick, creamy tone. Notice that this bass retains the 6-bolt neck neck joint. It was important for Sterling to retain the built-tough feel and function if it was going to be associated with Music Man. The standard issue Sterlings feature maple necks. This is a limited issue that features both a rosewood neck and a rosewood fretboard.
