First of all, I am using this pedal for a bass guitar right now. I like the pedal, nothing more nothing less. You can adjust the range of the wah effect by using a knob called "boost". There is a switch on the bottom right corner of the pedal. It switches from volume to the wah effect. I wish that when I used the wah I could pull it all the way and turn the wah off, but the pedal still meets it's purpose. I've had this pedal for about 2 weeks and it feels very strong. Very quality build, and it will not move when you set it down. So far the pedal has served me well.
FIRST THINGS FIRST, if you are looking for an old school style wah sound, don't buy this, it doesnt work as great as anothers to play Hendrix or some funky stuff, but this thing is unbeliebable, the sound is so clean and beautiful, in seems that your guitar not only cry, but really "talks". The optical issue also is so more quiet than a Cry Baby potentiometer, and the motiont is really soft, one thing you have to take care is that the open range is longer than others but finally it doesn̴t open as much as cry baby. I strongly recomend this one, i also recomend you tu buy the original morley adapter or another similar wuth center negative (Visual sound for example) otherwise, its gonna be really noisy.
This is a great modern wah pedal. Actually, all Morley wahs are pretty modern sounding. Great for shred and solos. Dont get it for funk music though, for that get a Crybaby, but this wah is GREAT for everything else.
I have had this wah wah pedal for about a month and have not had a problem once. I bought it with my crate half stack and it is just plain amazing and fun to play.
