Very Happy

By

from West Chester

Comments about Morley PDW-II Pro Series Distortion/Wah/Volume Pedal:

I just received this pedal. It is the first that I own. I like the versatility of having volume, wah and distortion. What is especially great is that Morley totally supports their products. Like others, I didn't care for the default sweep of the volume pedal, so I emailed Scott at Morley and he sent me links on how to customize it for my liking. He also sent me a drawing on how to cut the light openings on the shutter. This is not difficult and greatly helped to get the pedal to work to my liking. Also, if I didn't like the way the customizing worked, they offered to send me a new shutter free of charge to go back to default. Awesome! The pedal is a true tank. Metal to the Pedal!!

Very happy with this Volume Wah

By

from West Chester, Pa

Comments about Morley PDW-II Pro Series Distortion/Wah/Volume Pedal:

This is my 1st pedal. I wanted something to control my volume without losing tone and this fits the bill. Morley fully supports their products, as I received a response to my email within hours on how to customize the volume sweep to make it more linear. It took me just a few minutes and some trial and error. I like having the distortion as an option, though my Mustang iii amp has tons of options as well. Wah works well too. This pedal is one very we'll made unit....built like a tank!

Quality With a Great Wah Sound

By

from Pine Hill, NJ

Comments about Morley PDW-II Pro Series Distortion/Wah/Volume Pedal:

My Morley PDW Wah has been a mainstay in my rig, which consists of: An Ibanez Talman, Epiphone LP Std, Peavey Wolfgang Special, Marshall SL-X 2100 through a JCM800 1960a cab, a 5150 combo and Fender Princeton. The wah has a squawky upper midrange tone to it and allows for some squeaky trebles. It is a distinctly American sounding wah. It is extremely versatile. I've used mine as a tone filter for the Wolfgang or a treble booster for solos, and of course, as a typical wah pedal The distortion is not very good, to be honest. It is fizzy and is best used as a wah booster (Morley placed the distortion after the wah signal like you would in an effects chain). This pedal is built like a tank and features "potless" optical operation for the pedal signal and it is exceptionally reliable. I've gigged with this pedal and it has never let me down. It is extremely quiet and sounds great.
