When I first heard of the Mark Tremonti Power Wah, I could not wait to get ahold of one and plug it in. When I finally got one, I plugged it in and played for hours, just to find out every single thing about it. Its a great pedal overall, there were just a few negatives. The drive it pushes out when in clean playing is really muffled and scratchy (this could probably be solved with a hum exterminator). And if your playing with a distortion pedal, the wah boost nob has to be down low or else it destroys your sound. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it. Great Pedal!!

I have been playing for years, so I can say with ease that this, despite the name and hype, is NOT your best choice for a Morley. I'm not one for mixing wah with gain, however, so I could just be too picky about my sound. An hour after I used it, my buddy sent it back for a Bad Horsie II...neither of us have looked back since.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I bought this pedal about a half a year ago, when i was looking for a new wha pedal, and it turned out great. I love to use it, the only problem is the short delay between when u actually press and release the pedal. Overall it's a good buy.

Works for almost EVERYTHING!!!

About Me Professional Musician

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I switched to this pedal 7 yrs ago, from a Power Wah, and it has worked for me in pretty much every genre.
Some will complain about a delay in foot response. I think its more that those particular critics either play with modern gain and an open wah that's always on till they sweep it, or they have gotten used to crybaby's, that you must rock forward to turn on....which to me, means that you kinda start your wah at the high end of it's sweep .... just my opinion though.
I play in two bands, one is an original music "French Quarter" Blues and swamp pop .... the other.... is a Multi-genre rock/metal cover band. I use the same amp rig for both, but different pedalboards.... and is used on BOTH pedalboards. I've since bought a second one, so I don't have to constantly switch it out on my peadlboards. This pedal is very versatile for most types of music.
As with any effects pedal..... and especially wah's, some will work for you and your specific sound, and some won't. While I don't get the Hendrix-like classic tomes from it, that's not the wah tone that I LOOK FOR! Also realize that this IS A SIGNATURE MODEL!!! It's made more for that Creed / Alterbridge type sound! It's designed to be run through an overdriven, Modern-Gain setup. It works pretty good for those Tom Morello-like RATM / Audioslave sounds too ...think "Bulls On Parade" or "Light My Way".
Overall summary... it's a tank, that keeps on ticking through live show abuse... as long as you don't just throw your gear in a corner when you're not gigging. It's versatile enough in tone to get most of the sounds I need for the numerous types of music I play.
If you can't get this wah to do what you want.... either you need to start tweaking other settings in your rig, or you just don't really know how to truly USE a wah pedal properly!

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

This is definitely one of the best wah's I've ever played. I owned it for 8 years. And still love it . Not having to click on and off makes it even better. Other reviews complain . About scratchy noise. Well maybe you need to get rid of your cheap cords . I noticed when my buddies use it they are not use to the wide sweep. So just move your foot a little more and you will like it to

This wah is a must if you play through a high gain, overdrive, ready to "explode"
amp! You can't go wrong with any Morley products, but this one is exceptional!

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I like the built in boost as well as the great "wah" sound and sweep but the best part of this pedal is the optical switch and "spring loaded" pedal that returns to the up/off position as soon as you remove your foot.

      Awesome Wah

      By Matt

      from Pittsburgh

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I've been playing for years and, although I love the sound of a Crybaby, I was intrigued by the "instant on" feature of this wah. I've had it for about 3 years and have gigged with it a lot. It works great. I use it with just a slight volume boost to help out with leads. Other posters have mentioned it not working well with distortion, but I run my signal through this pedal before I run it through my amp, and the rest of my pedals are on my amp's effects loop. I've never had a problem. Sometimes, when my cord's not plugged into my guitar, this wah gives me some really great "noise." It's a decent price, it's a solid product. Definitely worth it.

      Great Pedal!

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

This is a good wah pedal, it may not have the range in frequencies like some others, but those frequencyۡs donۡt sound good, and hurt your ears anyway. This is a nice sounding wah, and the boost is nice too. If it is good enough for Mark Tremonti, its good enough for anyone else.
