Marvellous and easy to use, I experiment it to be connected to a guitar (in/out) and two speakers(A&B): one to by right, and the other one to the left side, and it was very simple to use with a button you select both or one of the speakers , and with another button: A or B, apart from not provoking any change in the tone. I am very happy with this purchase..

Upon using the Morley ABY channel switcher, I was surprised to find that my tone significantly diminished when in "Y" mode between two amps. I'm running a Nashville Tele between an Orange AD30HTC and Fender HRD with a POD xtl in front of it. The Orange suffers the most, losing shimmering highs, some body and sustain. The digital POD to the HRD is buffered, so that helps my signal, but their is bleed between the amps. Also, popping noises can be heard when switching the Morley. Overall, it is a great price to use between switching two guitars, but for running expensive vintage amps, go with a Lehle ABY.

this price for a switch?

By Aaron Netsell

from Woodstock, IL

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

If it was silent switching, that'd be one thing. But I can hear a pop in my amp every time I hit the switch. Sorry Morley, this does not impress. The case felt decent enough, construction seemed solid. I'll be spending a few more bucks to get something worth paying for.

Just Not Dependable

By Dave

from Milwaukee, WI

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

Got this from my Guitarist to use for switching between amps. Admittedly, he had it for years and just never really used it. All together, I got about 6 months worth of use out of it with a lot of buzz, radio interference, and occasionally just not working. Last night it just stopped working, it sends about half of the signal to one amp on the "B" side, and nothing to the "A" side. When it did work, there would be bleed through on the side that was off, and if you tried running 2 guitar into one amp, one guitar would control the volume of the other. All-in-all, this is such a simple pedal, I don't know how Morley could have screwed it up this bad.

Use it for instrument switching

By Kevin

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

I use this pedal to switch between my guitar and mandolin. It works for me and the signal loss is negligible. Have not tried it as a bi-amp unit but then again I don't really use my own amps as I am an acoustic player mostly. I have not experienced any hiss, clicks or pops when switching. Would recommend this to anyone using it as I do currently.

Works as Advertised

By Chad

from Sparks, Nevada

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

This pedal works as advertised. I use it to select between two different Peavey amps and the tone of both remains true while using the Morley. My effects also are all working just as they did before this was added to the chain. The LEDs are clearly visible and tell me exactly which setting I'm on at all times. My one complaint is the difficulty of accessing the battery bay. One way around this is to run the battery harness out the case corner and connect to a One Spot power supply (with the 9V connector that is sold separately). Problem solved, you only have to get inside it once.

Don't Buy

By Chris

from Boston, MA

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

I'm a Bass player and I bought this for Byamping. I NEVER switch between A, B, or AB. I leave it on AB to split my signal for 2 amps. After owning it for 2 months, It died on me. Wouldn't send a signal. I got the Guitar Center staff to swap it for me and 3 months later, same thing. Silent. I'm Mad.

Too Cheap!

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

I owned for only 3 months of light use. The selector switch broke and I could no longer select between A and B. Not very durable construction.

Great Effects Splitter Pedal!!!

By Vendetta1418

from Independence, MO

Comments about Morley ABY Channel Switcher:

For some reason, no one has written reviews on this pedal beind used as an effects chain switcher. i currently use this Morley A/B/Y, to instantly switch from a heavy distorted sound, to a softer clean chorus sound. with this pedal, you can achieve some great effect combos.
