  • Quality With a Great Wah Sound

    My Morley PDW Wah has been a mainstay in my rig, which consists of: An Ibanez Talman, Epiphone LP Std, Peavey Wolfgang Special, Marshall SL-X 2100 through a JCM800 1960a cab, a 5150 combo and Fender Princeton. The wah has a squawky upper midrange tone to it and allows for some squeaky trebles. It is a distinctly American sounding wah. It is extremely versatile. I've used mine as a tone filter for the Wolfgang or a treble booster for solos, and of course, as a typical wah pedal The distortion is not very good, to be honest. It is fizzy and is best used as a wah booster (Morley placed the distortion after the wah signal like you would in an effects chain). This pedal is built like a tank and features "potless" optical operation for the pedal signal and it is exceptionally reliable. I've gigged with this pedal and it has never let me down. It is extremely quiet and sounds great.
