Pristine volume control with no pots to wear out!

The EOV Optical Volume pedal from Morley uses an electro-optical circuit instead of traditional pots, which can become scratchy or wear out over time. The EOV's smooth optical taper is great for volume control or for creating lush, violin-like swells. Built to last with a cold-rolled steel housing, easy-access battery compartment, and LED on/off indicator. Uses 9V battery or Morley 9V regulated adapter (sold separately).

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

folks, if you looked on the morley website you would see that this particular pedal is stock with an "audio taper" meaning that the volume swell on this pedal is intended to be at full volume in no time. this is an easy fix, as also seen on the website. in order to create the "linear taper" that most volume pedals are stocked with, i personally prefer the linear taper, you must take the back off of the pedal and situate the LEDs. you move the LED labeled L1 further from the LDR1 and this will create a linear taper. with this being said it is an awesome pedal and much more durable that the ernie ball jr.

  • Not bad

As reviewed by Kirby Hamill on 6/21/2011

Granted, like the other reviews say, the range of motion is very limited. Yet, there is an easy fix. All you really need to do is turn up your amp higher than normal, and put the pedal about half way, and there. You have a nice volume for rhythm, and if you put it all the way forward at this point, suddenly your volume is nice enough to solo over your previously nice sounding rhythm. So honestly, those of you who are complaining about lack of range of motion and its "too quiet", need to honestly think of a solution. It's a decent pedal for the soft price.

  • Not worth the trouble

As reviewed by Bob on 7/19/2010

I bought the Morley EOV pedal without trying it out in the store mainly because I wanted an optical volume pedal. Big mistake. It's basically a large on/off switch. You won't hear a sound from it until the pedal hits the half-way point. From there it pretty much goes right to full volume. If you must have a Morley VP then go for the Morley Volume Plus Pedal. Better yet, try the Dunlop DVP-1. No batteries needed.
