ABY with independent input level controls for the perfect mix.

The Morley ABY Mix guitar mixer and switcher routes 1 signal to 2 inputs or 2 inputs to 1 output. So you're at a gig, with your electric and acoustic-electric guitars, but only have a single amp. You want to be able to jump between the electric and acoustic-electric guitars, but you hate the constant cord-changing and the loud pops you get when doing so.

The Morley ABY Mix pedal tackles this obstacle so you can get back to doing what you love-rocking out on your axes. The Morley ABY Mix pedal lets you choose A, B, or A and B combined for mixing two different instruments. Two bright LEDs show you which signal is active. The unit is true bypass and passive, so it will work without a battery (a 9V battery is required for the LED to function). Designed with a cold rolled steel housing, this rugged pedal will stand up to the rigors of the road, or wherever you need a quick instrument change on-the-fly. Warning: Do not use on powered speaker lines. You will damage your amp, speakers, or both.

Morley pedals are designed for musicians who want more than just the same old pedals built the same old way. This pedal contain innovative designs, clever features, and bullet-proof construction. Each and every one is hand-assembled in the U.S.A. with American-made pride.

Morley ABY Mix Guitar Mixer and Switcher Features:

  • Main Input
    A and B channels

    Cold rolled steel housing.
    Dimensions: 5-1/4"D x 3-1/2"W x 2"H

As reviewed by THOMAS CHILDERS on 3/7/2012

I picked this pedal up about 2 weeks ago. I use it to run one guitar(Les Paul) through two amps. I have not yet tried running two guitars to one amp. I have a Marshall MG30/DFX which has a nice warm tone and a Kustom Quad 65 DFX which has a higher, more aggressive tone. The combination of the two amps work well together, especially when you need to come over the top to add some lead or lower bass tones. It is not complicated. The input level controls are easy to adjust to dial in the right sound mix. I really like when you step on the button to switch between channels A,B, or both(it does not make any noise through the amps). This device allows you to be able to utilize different gear you may have, with the click of a button without powering off and plugging back in. This device does exactly what it said it would do and I am very happy that I made this purchase.

  • Morley ABY works as advertised

As reviewed by TDR on 5/14/2011

I picked up 1 of these a few weeks ago to give me the ability to run 2 amps together. I have a Vox AC15C1, a Line6 SpiderIII 150w 2x12 and a VHT Special6 Ultra. 3 very different amps. I have run in 1 guitar and out to the VHT and Line6 and it runs both at the same time very well. The Input Level controls work great to blend and fine tune the mix quite well. Nice thing there is no extra noise or signal loss that I can notice. Hearing 2 compleatly different amps playing at the same time gives an amazing cool full sound shape.

  • In accurate product description

The discription in the Guitar Weekly magazine March (Slash)page 38 describes this as a "Buffered, Active circuit." This would make this unit a true active mixer. In the previuos AB switch when you try to engage both channels there is a signal loss because it is a passive circuit. This should take care of that issue and should be a must have tool. Can't wait to get one.
