Beats Pro headphones are just that, professional quality headphones designed for sound engineers, musicians, and those who take sound seriously. They're the headphones that artists like Will.i.am use in the studio, and are designed to deliver the same level of emotion and power the artist originally intended.
THE SOUND OF THE STUDIO
Beats Pro headphones sound so good because they put back the quality lost in modern-day file compression. That means you're really hearing music the way it was originally heard by the artist in the studio.
CLEAR HIGHS AND DEEP LOWS
Beats Pro are made of steel and aluminum, giving you an interior sound platform more solid than most. That's why you'll feel the kind of bass that resonates deep in your chest when you play your music.
No cheap plastic, no frayed cords. Beats Pro headphones are made with an aluminum gunmetal frame with a black matte anodized finish, encasing overstuffed leather ear cups.
TRUE NOISE REDUCTION
Because Beats Pro headphones have heavily padded, pivoting ear cups, you get the noise cancelling effect without the need for power switches or batteries. It's the real studio monitor experience in a headphone.

Comments about Monster Pro:
I LOVE these headphones. Now don't get me wrong i don't love them just because they have the big "b" on them. I have tried TONS of headphones and these sound the best by far. The bass is AMAZING. The bass might be a little much for music that is not bass heavy but for bass heavy music these are a little piece of heaven. I returned my Pioneer HDJ 2000 headphones because i like these for DJing even more! The bass doesn't not overpower yet it is POWERFUL. Everything is very clear and instrument separation is fairly nice. They go really loud and are built VERY well. The only problems i have with them is that they are very tight and hurt your ears after a short amount of time. Not a big deal for me cause it doesn't bug me that much and taking them off for a few seconds does wonders. Also my only other complaint is the price. They are overpriced yet i am very glad i got them. Also the fact that they are Beats by Dr. Dre is a plus. Very stylish and you get alot of compliments.
Comments about Monster Pro:
While these headphones look and sound great, the ergonomics leave much to be desired. They are much heavier and the least comfortable of any studio headphones I've ever owned. The cups are perfectly round, not oval like most, and not deep enough in my opinion. Also the seam on the padding around the ear cup digs into my ear which makes me have to constantly shift and re-position them during use. This combined with the pressure from the tension in the headphones and the excessive weight causes me to need to take breaks way more often than I'd like. The sound quality makes me want to wear them all day long, but the fatigue and discomfort from everything else I described is frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully they will take this in consideration for the next generation of Beats Studio Pros. I will probably end up giving them to my son for X-Mas because he wouldn't be using them for production or mixing, just casual music listening. Plus, to him, the cool factor alone would be enough for him to ignore any technical design flaws or minor discomfort. I wish I could say the same.
