Beats by Dr. Dre Pro are reference headphones designed by audio professionals for audio professionals. Particularly, those who prefer a clean, yet forceful sound across the spectrum. Built from strong yet lightweight aluminum for rugged use on-the-go, Beats by Dr. Dre Pro headphones resist vibrations, so you never hear unwanted artifacts, just pure, clear sound.

Dual input/output cable ports enable you to share mixes by daisy-chaining headphones. If you've ever wanted to share a mix without removing your headphones, now you can.

Beats by Dr. Dre Pro headphones have flip-up earcups that let you monitor the room without taking them off your head. They're so plush and comfortable you'll be able to wear them for hours and forget you have them on. They deliver advanced passive sound isolation, keeping the music in and ambient sounds just audible enough. Best of all, they're washable so you don't have to sweat sweating in them.

Is it worth it?

By Anita Na

from long beach ca

Would I spend 400 dollars on headphones?? NO!! but that was back than after countless headphones doing gig after gig and being on the road. Accidents happen! I notice that most headphones are built with some sort of plastic and some metal. Not with These. Pretty much this is almost all metal except the pads. Its heavier than most headphones. I think these headphones are built like the industry standard technics 1200. Too me, something that looks and feel strong might be something to spend on. Not to mention these headphones are sexy and people know what your rocking when your spinning. Kind of like wearing prada shades. Okay lastly, I thought these headphones were all hype through all the marketing monster has done but when it comes to SOUND.. You hear everything the producer/artist has made. Nothing is overdone. Some might say that I hear too much bass.. but you also hear everything else. All the lows, mids, and highs come together and sounds well balance with a little bit more of low end but still deliver everything else. It's perfect. I just got these headphones.. but so far they feel like they will last a long time and you can feel it.

Very well-designed Headphones for what they were actually intended to be used for.

By Raymond Wright

from Atlanta, GA

It is very saddening to read my fellow consumers' reviews that are written with a total lack of understanding for the product they are using. First off, these Dr. Dre Pro series headphones were not intended for studio use though if that's your preference, you could preferably use the less expensive "Studio" series which were actually designed for that purpose. The Pro Series line was designed to accommodate the rigorously ear-fatiguing, extremely loud club and concert hall/out-door pavilion environments for the modern-day "professional DJ". I originally purchased these for my DJ girlfriend's birthday after hearing them upon recommendation from a fellow colleague. At a recent club event we had, I decided to test them for myself at which I was pleasantly amazed with their overall outstanding performance. After years of Sony, Audio-Technica, Pioneer and Shure DJ series "cans", I will be purchasing another set of these "best-in-DJ-class" headphones for myself. I'm sure fellow "professional DJs" will surely appreciate the durably well-crafted, proficient specs for the ears of the people who set vibe of entertainment in the club-environments all over the world. Continued success in spinning.

For Casual Music Listening

By Brad

from New Jersey

These headphones are not for any type of studio monitoring whatsoever. Their sound is far too colored, especially in the low end, for an accurate mix; the active noise cancelling can interfere with one's accuracy while mastering. These are for listening to music, but even at that, they are more expensive than other headphones that deliver more than comparable sound quality.

NOT FOR STUDIO!

By Greg

from Roseville, MI.

You cannot use these for studio purposes. The sound is good for moderate volumes. Built in chip interfere with flat eq settings.
