when you want the best value, tone, durability. buy monster!

By Anthony Schmidt

from portland, maine

Now I've had many cables from George Ls, mogami platinum cable, to my new monster studio pro 1000. Awesome cable. Great balance, no coloration, lag. And my favorite no handling nose. You can run and jump around on a fourty minute set and not here a single pop, ping, pang. Not even the dreaded RFI (Spanish radio usally coming thourgh your amp), I've experienced with the mogami platinum series guitar cable. P.S. RFI issue was not because of improper grounding of house. In general I've found monster studio pro1000 my preferred cable for it's dynamic range, balanced clarity and harmonic output. Durability and construction design are impeccable. Tough, long lasting. All with the monster lifetime guarantee.

A little pricey!

By Matthew Bunnell

from Denver, Colorado

First, I'd like to say that I cannot make out any discernible audible difference between this cable and the Monster Bass cables that I usually use. If there is a difference, it is probably so minute that only a machine can "hear" it which would lend itself well to studio use, as is hinted in the name. I noticed right out of the box that this cable is very thick in comparison to my normal cables. It has a woven fiber sheath around the full length of the cable that may add to durability and aesthetics but in turn makes the cable very stiff. I would not hesitate to use this cable in any setting so long as you're mindful of its lack of flexibility.

Does NOT make any difference!!!!

By Mark(The Basscowboy) Meadows

from Los Angeles, CA

One of your reviews says something like...."it's great for theatres, outdoor venues, wineries, etc." Please...give us a break. Anyone who's ever done gigs like that know well that the quality of sound at any venue relies on the sound system itself. The ultra tiny amount of noise or lack of "time correct wiring" is not even close to audible and the audience will never, EVER, know the difference. Anyone is much better off spending $50 or less for a cable of any kind! I am a fan of monster cables and I use them exclusively...but this is just absurd. Think about it....these cables never existed 20 years ago...but somehow they still managed to make great sounding records without these $150 cables!!!!!! Oh yeah.

Playing in sophisticated settings, auditorium, deck stages in cater centers, wineries or other outdoor controlled environments, etc., requires superior clarity of connectors to/from instruments & mixing consoles while optimizing the integrity of music productions or presentations. This cable provides quality sound & a durabilty unparalleled in sync with classic visual appearance. Work it your worth it !!
