I bought my first monster cable about 4 years ago, and I haven't looked back since. The secret is in the gold plating. The gold also looks cool. I use my new Jackson RR3 with Duncan pickups into my Marshall G80R amp. It really cuts down on "fuzz" and other unwanted noise. The clean tones come in thick and meaty (like I like 'em). Plus they come with a lifetime warranty! They have greatly improved my recording quality into my Tascam us-122. Yes, they may be a little bit pricey, but you'll never get such an authentic sound.

I bought this cable for my Fender Tele based on Monster's name and history with quality cables. My hope was to use the right angle side on the guitar for a cleaner look. The right angle side will not "snap" into the guitar, falls out, and does not work with the tele. I have to still use the straight in side of the cable on the guitar. I guess it works on the amp side though. Im glad I couldn't find the double right angle cable I was looking for since it would not have worked, I would have opened it, and Guitar Center would have hassled me with returning it. So......don't buy this cable for use with a telecaster.

Best part is warranty

By colorprotocol

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

First of all, this cable works great. If you have nice equipment but you're using bad cables, your stuff will sound a lot worse. This cable does a great job on electric guitar and bass. But the best part is the warranty; they will replace it no matter what you do to it.

BLOWS ME AWAY

By TC

from San Antonio

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I have never written a review online before but this cable has prompted me to do so. I spent years getting the "regular" cables and had nothing but frustration and problems. I cannot believe the difference in sound this cable has. Its amazing. It has transformed the sound completely. And its a one time purchase, lifetime warranty that covers anything. Last cable you will have to buy.

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

So I went in to guitar center and I needed a new cable so one of the guys says "Why don't you go over there get yourself a Monster Rock cable and I promise if you don't like it I'll pay and you can keep it." Best choice I've ever made.

this is a monster

By Zoso350

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

This is exactly what you would expect from a monster cable. It lets you play for hours on end without cutting off and keeps the same crisp tone for a long time. I have two of these and they havn't caused any for problems for 2 years. It's pricey by the foot but you are definatley getting what your paying for.

Great cable!

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I just picked up a moster cable 21' single angled cable at guitar center the other day, and its working greatly. The material its made from doesnt look like its going to fall apart anytime soon, like my old cable, and even if it does u get a lifetime waranty on the cable even if the damage is your fault! You just mail the broken cable back and get a new one for no charge. That makes the value great considering you'll never need to buy another cable!

Clean, clear & Pure Tone for Your Axe!

By GuitarDr

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

When you want the very best on stage & in the studio, go the extra mile and use what the professionals use. Lifetime warranty that you'll probably never use: whether for instrument or FX loop cable. Why settle for cheap cable when you need the very best? The tone & quality lead you to Monster!

Wow!!!

By Ataxia

from Washington, USA

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

When I originally added the monster cable to my cart and bought it I didn't expect this kind of quality. It's the gold plating. No "fuzz" and clear or crisp and meaty sounds that you always wanted to hear your pickups truly produce. This cable does your pickups justice and gives your guitar the ability to transfer that sound to the masses. There's almost nothing more exciting than that. The straight and angled is extremely nice. You know you're not going to tweak your cable too hard by brushing by it which is an intense relief. The cable is nice and flexible which makes it easy to move into whatever position you want it in. I always used to use cheap cables which an assortment of problems, I will never go back. This cable is a bit pricy but, it's worth every cent!

Worth the money

By Thumper

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I've tried the cheap cables, and they didn't hold up. The ends were always coming lose. I decided to try Monster Cable. Best investment I've made for my bass. I bought it for the warranty, but I was surprised at how much better my rig sounded! I have been using it for over a year and it still looks new.

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I decided to upgrade all my cables to monster rocks because i mostly play rock and i had really cheap cables before. So, i picked up 3 of these the other day and wow, let me tell you my sound improved so much. You probably think so what it is just a cable but dont buy a cheap one. I didnt want to stop playing once i started. Truely amazing. Plus, you get a lifetime warranty. Even though you wont need to ever use it.

Best Cable Out There

By Vaughn Johnson

from Las Vegas, Nevada

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I bought this cable about a year ago and it works absolutely great. The lifetime warrenty is amazing as well. You buy ONE of these and you will always (as long as you dont misplace it) have a cable. My entire band uses monster cables. We are a ska band and have a lot of members so, that is a lot of monster cables. I have never looked back at any other cables ever since I got these. They are a little pricey but hey, if you buy these, you mean business.

The perfect cable

By HappyCustomer

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

This cable is the best. I use this to go from my multi effects pedal to my amp. I use a straight one for pedal to guitar. Gotta love the lifetime warranty, not that you'll need it. This cable is tougher than any cable known to musicians. The gold plating looks cool too.

Finally

By Scott

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I have been debating wheather to spend money on this or to save up and get a shure wireless and for me this was the better choice. I do mostly in house playing/recording and this cable is serious. It is very clear, gold plated so it won't decay or rust as quickly over time. i went with 30 feet and i can pretty much play, walk up to my fridge get out a drink, and walk back to the room i was playin in :). Great buy for avid players

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

Great cable..there may be better ones but at half the cost, this cable does a great job, Plus, the unlimited warranty is a BIG positive. If this cable stops working for any reason, you can go to any store that sells them and have it exchanged with no cost to you and no receipt required. That is a great plus!

OK... I was skeptical about spending the money on these cables. But I have to say, 60 seconds after plugging my LP custom in to my JC-120 --- I was blown away. The power and clarity is unparalled, I am now a fan of Monster cables... going to start replacing all my cables now....

Brilliant!

By Agents of Chaos

from Seattle, WA

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

I've been using the 12 foot version of this cable for small clubs for a few years now, and could never seem to find the 30 foot version anywhere. I needed to run two Marshall JCM2000 heads stereo from my TC Electronic NOVA System. Then I found these on GC's site, and snatched them up. My tone, signal, and expression in my playing come through brilliantly. Thanks for having these in stock and shipping them to me in time for a huge show my band did.

Not worth it

By brett

from mobile, al

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:

The only thing good about these cables is the lifetime warranty. I think that is what you are paying for. I re did my whole guitar rig in this stuff and spent a fortune. Yes the sound signal did increase but that may not always be the best thing. The reason I came to this conclusion after much research was, "Why aren't any major guitar players and stars using this stuff in their rigs if it is so great". They use the cheap stuff. How ironic.
