    I purchased 2 sets of the 50ft SP1000 approximately 2.5 yrars ago. After a party, last October 31, I noticed one of the "banana" clips was gone. Returned to GC. Juat wanted them to solder a tip on it. GC refused to go that route. GC insisted on relpacing the unit with a NEW set. OK, so now I am still using the SP1000 50ft units and the reason I continue to use them is simply there is pure and clear.
