I intended to use this cable for a microphone. Although it sounds great, it's a little too rigid to be used for a mic that would be moved frequently or carried around the room/stage. I now have it plugged into my bass amp's balanced line out to my board. I get no interference and by the feel of this cable, you'd almost have to try to damage it. Even if you do manage to do so, it has a lifetime warranty.
