The Monster goes to church

Another online gear retailer might claim to be a friend to musicians but their house-brand mike cables seem to be engineered to just outlast the warranty. When we proposed plopping down nearly 4 C-notes for a dozen of these cables in the 20-foot length to our church's finance council, the legendary Monster Cable lifetime warranty was the clincher. The choir has never sounded better. Hum, cell phone static and occasional CB radio interference are gone. Since the mike cables are all the same length, the mixer's preamps are properly balanced. If a cable should go silent on us, we know we can take it back to Guitar Center for a replacement. For a choir, that's Heaven on Earth.

DOMINANT

If I was hanging from mount. Kilimanjaro and all I had was mic cables, I?d want one of these bad boys attached to me. These things are so durable I have them running under my carpet, through doors, and under furniture. I?m constantly walking on them, slamming them in doors or rolling over them with my computer chair and still the same quality. They?ve never shorted on me or failed me. Don't be afraid of monsters, scrounge up all those pennies in your porcelain Zuckerman?s famous pig "piggy bank," and get em.

Sturdy and Reliable

These cables are worth every penny and, as a midrange offering, are the best value you will find. Having tried several other brands, I have vowed to skip that step in the future. These withstand ACTUAL use - being thrown around when loading for gigs, wrapping, etc - not just climate controlled, stationary use. The most important feature is the cable to XLR connections which are uniquely designed to allow plenty of bend - this prevents crimping and wear and tear on internal connections. This is not common on even the more expensive cables. Oh, and did I mention that these have a lifetime warranty?

Monster Cable S-100 XLR Microphone Cable

Great cable. I had first bought a Horizon cable, and it stopped working shortly after I bought it. Now that I spent a little extra money for the Monster cable, I am much more happy. It works fine after several months. Haven't had any problems.

lifetime warranty is definitely useful

I lead worship at a church and all of our mics are on these babies. They are excellent mics and I have used the lifetime warranty a few times already... I think it is because the connectors are too large for the standard Shure mic clips. All in all, they are great cables.
