NEW REVIEW - It's a Monster Cable.

Yeah, I was looking to purchase a known name cord known for quality, and what did I choose? Monster Cable! When I first removed this cord from it's packaging, or should I say while I was removing this cord from it's packaging, I thought I might have damaged it because this cable feels very flimsy. So after I got it all untangled and plugged it into me amp and bass, wow, this cord has some nice sound with no loss of signal with no repeater or EQ attached. At 21' and no effects or added amplification added. This cord is nice and quiet, contrary to it's flimsiness. An instrument cable @ 21 ' as flimsy as this being as quiet as it is, if I didn't know any better, I would think I had my bass hooked up with a pro-co-sound Life Line. But a Life Line @ 21" would cost twice as much as this lower end Monster cable. I recommend this cable to anyone who wants to cable up on a budget, just make sure your amp is off while switching guitars because this cable makes one heck of a noise when you disconnect it from your guitar to hook up another one. I think I might start using these cables a some of the gigs I play at that have smaller stages, these cable are very very flexible, just be careful winding them up after use not to knot them up. Life lines and the like require large loops to ties to your back, these you can just run through a belt loop twice to make a small loop and there you go, instant wire management. Did I say these are very flexible? Life Lines can cause a hazard if they loop up on stage by looping up on the floor and standing up on their own, this model monster cable is very flexible, if it loops up, it lies flat on the floor. sweet. It might not last as long as a Life Line, by hey, what would you rather do? Trip over your life lines loop on the floor or step on a flat monster cable loop? These cables sound nice and they lay flat. Oh, and did I also mention that they're priced right? Thanks for reading, if your opinion of this cable differs from mine, feel free to contradict what I've said. But I still don't think you'll find a better cable for the same price.

It isn't called a "monster" cable for nothing.

This has to be the best cable I've purchased. Monster cables are very appropriately named as they are one of the most durable and reliable guitar related products I've ever purchased...ever. At a trip to Guitar Center, I brought along a friend who wanted me to buy just about everything in the store, but when I asked them what type of cable he would recommend, his eyes lit up immediately and he just about jumped as he exclaimed MONSTER CABLE! We then proceeded to the area where they were and he (very enthusiastically) explained how great these cables were and how awesome the quality was. Almost more importantly it seemed was the warranty that covered the cable, the one that said that no matter what, a broken cable would result in a new, free, replaced cable. My friend then began telling me how one could do a number of things including "bite through the cable with your teeth in front of a guy working at Guitar Center" and still get a free cable back. At that same moment, while the hand and body motions for "biting through a cable" were being performed, a Guitar Center employee walked by and casually stated, "or you could tow a car with it," resulting in not only our bursting out laughing but the ultimate purchase of a new, fantastic cable. I was not at all let down by the positive descriptions given by so many people about this cable. It's definitely one of the better and longer lasting purchases I've made and its qualities are numerous. I really think that it made my awful little amp sound significantly better and it's nice to know that it will always be there for me. Buying a Monster cable is probably one of the better decisions you will ever make in your musical life.

Good for the price

For a time when instrument cables are so expensive, the simple Monster cable does the job. I bought 2 12 foot cables and they are fine for my studio. I play with a Gibson Les Paul Studio and don't get any scratching or sounds when moving around with the cables. I am happy with the sound, I just find it very difficult to spend more than what these babies cost for cables. A little pricey for a basic cable, but that's the Monster brand name. I'm happy with them, no sound issues whatsoever and they are fat wires and easy to transport. There are better cables out there, but you gotta be willing to shell out the $$. For the $20 each I spent on the 12 footer, I feel I got a very good value.

Monster Cables

I have tried getting the cheaper cables, but they just didn't cut it. I took the next step up and picked up a few Monster Cables, and they are the best sounding cables that are put together to last forever. The cables I purchased came with a Lifetime Warranty. You really can't go wrong with these cables. I use it to play my Fender Stratocaster and even connect my effect pedals. This is an all-around great choice.

Monster Cable that Rocks!

I'm not sure about all the technical mumbo jumbo with this cord but I do know one thing, this guitar cable does sound incredible. I couldn't believe the difference between this and a Marshall cord I was using. This cord is built like a tank but also very flexible. The connectors are solid and also include changeable color-coded rings, which I guess would come in handy if you were plugging many cables in. The price may seem like a lot to pay for a guitar cord but trust me it's well worth it. The lifetime warranty can't be beat. Try one today, you'll be happy you did. It?s the best sounding cord I?ve ever owned.
