  • Sounds great...build quality is mediocre...

    First off I think these headphones sound fantastic! Bass like you wouldn't believe without being overpowering. Mids were good trebles at times could be a bit shrill and harsh. I owned two pairs of these and ended up returning both due to quality issues. First pair had loose hinges right out of the box and the second pair after several months the padding on the top headband came off. I got the Beats by Dre Pros instead which are built like tanks and do sound better. Again though they do sound great. Save up a bit and just get the pros.

    Great head phones for a few styles of music. Not the best all around pair in my opinion. If heavy bass is needed look no more. As a drummer the 1/8 to 1/8 cable provided in the box is too short for my studio. I need at least 6 feet. To get the proper length you need to special order from Monster (because no one stocks these of course) and expect to pay $60.00 if you want their cable. Hate to spend big money on a set of cans and then go cheap on the cable. They look awesome thats for sure. No worries about style here.

    I bought me a pair of these and got blown off as soon as i turned them on.You hear what you cant hear in your regular headphones everything is so clear.You also get a nice bass punch with mostly any style of music.If you mess up the cord you don't even have to throw the headphones just replace the wire.I would definitely recommend these headphone to any1 they are great for DJ's very portable.
