The Modulus Vertex 4 bass is built around their world-famous carbon fiber neck, which provides the sonic clarity and day-to-day reliability professional musicians have come to expect. Coupled with a lightweight alder body, the shape and balance of this Modulus bass make it an excellent choice for the player who wants more from their gear.
Some may wonder whether the Modulus Vertex 4 is an import bass guitar made "elsewhere" with components that lack inspiration and quality. But make no mistake—this bass guitar is pure Modulus from the bottom strap button to the tip of the headstock. Made by hand at Modulus' California factory alongside the world-renowned Quantum, Vintage J, and Funk Unlimited models, the Modulus Vertex4 is produced with the same precision and attention to detail that helped to define the company's reputation for quality.

Contrary to what others think, i know firsthand just how awesome this instrument is. I didnt pick one up and play it for 10 min at GC, I bought one. Great investment. The Bertolini is great, and the carbon fiber neck is incredible. There are no dead notes on this neck, a resonant frequency thing if you know what I am talking about. Every note anywhere on the fretboard sounds as loud and clear as the rest. A funk/ slap artist could make this baby cry, but as a picking bass, it is not so good. I play metal, and I cant help but feeling this bass would be right at home with a funk, jazz, or salsa bassist. Incredible sound, quality throughout. If you play Slayer, this is not the bass for you (or me). If you play anything else, this is one serious musical instrument. Well done, Modulus.
