With the ModTone Mini-Mod MTM-DLY delay guitar effects pedal you can enjoy the warm tone of analog circuitry and the precision of a digital chip. Mini-Mod marries two technologies to produce one of the most sought after delay sounds on the market today. The all-analog circuitry first produces the rich warm enhanced signal created between your guitars pickups and the pedal, and then the digital chip repeats the signal with Swiss-clock precision.
The compact, all-metal body fits in the palm of your hand and easily onto even the most crowded pedalboard. The densely overlaid textures of the MTM-DLY can create an assortment of effects, from haunting ethereal, to rockabilly slap-back, to trippy vibes straight out of outer space. If you want to freak out the neighbors, or just experiment with rubbery delay without breaking the bank, the ModTone Mini-Mod Delay pedal is just the right effects pedal for you.

At this price, you can't go wrong with these things. I got 2 of them so I can have a short delay and a long delay (well as long as long can be with an analog delay). For the price you get a good sounding delay in a small package. It actually sounds surprisingly good in front of an amp and even with some drive it still sounds amazingly good. Very reminiscent of Hendrix and Page sounds. It's also perfectly at home in the FX loop. Though I do have to shave off some points since I have to crank the effect level up to at least 75% in order for it to be audible through the FX loop. Otherwise its a good sounding delay for not much money. The small size means it won't take up much room on the pedalboard, though the wedge shape makes it a bit weird with the plugs going in and out at odd angles. I don't have a ton of pedals on my board so that doesn't really bother me too much. All-in-all I'm happy with this purchase and I've got room to experiment with these things in different placings.
Really more of an echo, you can't get that super thick sound out of it like you can a nice digital delay.. not the longest delay time either, that being said for the real estate that it takes up, True Bypass, and the 50$ price tag I can think of some uses to put it to. makes a cool back up to my Flashback!
