Overview

The Mitchell TB500 bass starts with a custom contour alder body and one-piece, comfortable-profile maple neck with a smooth Indian rosewood fretboard. Standard split-single and single-coil paraffin-dipped alnico-V pickups go from blues to classic to modern rock, while mitigating microphonics and feedback. Separate volume controls for each pickup provide complete sound sculpting, along with a master tone for even more sonic options. The high-mass modern bridge ensures a robust tone, smooth sustain for days, and solid intonation.

All Mitchell basses receive a complete stateside setup and quality control inspection to ensure exceptional playability.

TB500 Features

Comments about Mitchell TB505 5-String Traditional Bass Guitar:

I use this bass for weekend gigs, Sunday morning gigs, and recording. It offers a variety of tones that are clean, crisp, and very punctual. The neck is fast and very comfortable. It is also very light weight! I bought a 4 and 5 string version of this bass. Highly recommended! The only cons are that it will need a good setup and the input Jack will need a good upgrade.

Comments about Mitchell TB505 5-String Traditional Bass Guitar:

Wow I tried this bass many times in GC Fort Worth and Arlington Tx.
I really wanted a nice PJ bass. I was upset that the price was close to $600 when they came out. But I notice on the holidays it was on sale... So I pick one up at Fort Worth! I was so happy for the price I got it for! My only small issue was the bridge had a little small piece chip off... not a major issue. The sales rep or Manager name Chase help me out really nice guy! I wanted to post this comment on the good service he provided me! The bass is great for pros. I do a lot of gigs in a year and I'm excited for what this bass will do!
