Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

So I was looking for a smaller body guitar to keep around the house or at work. I have really nice guitars ( Gibson, Seagull ect.) and I don't want them to get beat up by keeping them out of their cases. I really wanted something to beat on a little and something that is replaceable if it gets damaged. This is a sweet little guitar. It is not going to give you the sound of a Martin but for under $200 you really can't go wrong. Construction seems solid. Fit and finish are very good, better than most in the under $200 market. The tuners are smooth and hold the tune very well. The neck is straight and fairly smooth for a hi-gloss neck. The fretboard is of good quality and the fret edges are nice and smooth. The solid spruce top gives this guitar a nice snappy tone. I also like the abalone rosette. All in all a good guitar for just jamming out and for practice. It plays easy after a quick truss rod adjustment and some new strings.

          Great Sound

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

This guitar has a great warm sound, but also has a robust sound, it really jumps out there. I needed a guitar that I could just grab and work on my writing. When you play a certain chord, it sounds like that chord right away. This Mitchell MO100s also stays in tune for a long time.It fits me great, well built, solid, and looks great. You would not go wrong in this investment.

          Perfect

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

My grandmother was going to get and Epiphone PR-150 for me but when she went in to the local guitar center she found out that they went out of stalk. She ended up buying me the Mitchell MO100S/VS. When i found this out, I was really mad. But i decided since she spent the money id try it out. when She dropped it off at my hose i tuned it up and when i played i was amazed at the quality of sound and how rich it was. I'm so glad i decided to try it out instead of being a jerk about not getting what it wanted. I love my Mitchell and if you're thinking of getting this guitar i would highly recommend it. It just sounds great, stays in tune, its easy to play, and every time I play, it seems that the sound gets better and better.

          Defies Logic

          By Brian Harris

          from Akron, OH

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

Having sold my Taylor 410 a few years ago, I'm looking for a replacement that is cheaper (so when the kids draw on it I don't weep in front of them) but not a non-responsive box with strings. That's the bummer coming from the 410 - I want a cheap, worry-free guitar but I'm spoiled by a "real guitar" sound. I played all the 000's, folks, and smaller guitars in the room today and this one really blew me away. The neck was the best, I swear the frets were polished, and the sound was balanced. I kept looking at the price and wondering how it would hold up when, inevitably, my 2 year old stands on top of it. I'm still shopping, but this one is a 4 star on my list. And the neck was MUCH better than the budget $800 Martin in the room.

Best value for a guitar under $300

          By Alan Kiernan

          from Maine

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

I've owned the guitar for a bit over two weeks. Neck is stable, bridge and top show no sign of trouble, and tuners do not slip. The guitar is very well-made and I highly recommend it. Intonation is near perfect over the entire fretboard, even beyond the 12th fret. It has low action without any fret buzz, even when finger-picked at high volume. The neck is bound, so the sharp fret ends felt on many low-priced guitars are not a problem. The entire guitar is finished in high gloss (not just a gloss top, or gloss body with a cheaply finished satin neck). Tone is about average for a $250-$400 guitar. Nothing great but not dead like some heavily braced clunkers selling in the $300-$400 range. This guitar is pretty light, which surprised me.

          Great Guitar

          By Achala Ganegoda

          from Omaha NE

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

Mitchell MO100S is a great guitar; what can I say, ?Perfect deal?. I tried many guitars of its range (Ex: Yamaha FG700S, FS700S, FG730 and etc), but Mitchell MO100S is by far better than everything on its range. It looks really nice in real and the tone is brilliant for its range. My brother, who has a Martin 00015, was surprised with the tone, just amazing. But, you do have to lower the action a little bit. If you?re a beginner, traveler or even a professional, this is one of the best you can buy for its range. It looks and sounds more than its value (maybe few hundreds more). Go for it, you won?t regret it.

          Mitchell MO 100s/vs

          By Jonathan Hand

          from Belair, maryland- Hazlehurst, Georgia

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

My name is Jon Hand. Ive played guitar since I was 11 years old. Ive had my hands on thousands of guitars priced high and low. I've had ovations, Gibson, takaminies ect.. all the name brands. The Mitchell MO 100s/vs is an amazing guitar. I find it funny that a $600 ovation doesn't play anywhere near as good as my Mitchell and its American made. This is one guitar that Ill never let go. Very impressed with the action and the ring..

          Great guitar

          By Noah Reichner

          from Abington PA

Comments about Mitchell MO100S Solid-Top Orchestra Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for about 5 years, and this is a very good guitar for the price. the only reason i gave it 4 stars not 5 is that it buzzes a little especially when using a capo but i put on heavy gage strings and it helps a lot i can barely hear the buzzing now.
