With today?s guitar market so widespread in variety and price range I could not find my guitar for weeks, I couldn?t make up my mind. Do I want an expensive guitar or something in the middle of the road? I was going to get an expensive guitar until I grasped my fingers on the fretboard of a Mitchell MD100 and seconds later I said ?ill take it?. The sound is solid and the guitar is light in weight which I like and it looks really nice for the price. I enjoy playing the Mitchell guitar every day, it sounds like a really expensive guitar, but it is only a fraction of the price! My neighbor liked it so much and the price he went out and bought one too. What do you have to lose its inexpensive easy to play sounds great and is only a fraction of the cost compared to other guitars. The Mitchell is really good for beginner players and I recommend it for every one!

Tried out a half dozen of these guitars and the result was the same on all of them nothing but horrible fret buzz. It is a shame as these guitars look and feel very nice. I was hoping to get something to bang around on with a half decent sound so I wouldn't have to take my Martin D-16GT outside too much but these guitars need some serious fret work on them. The action was fine so it wasn't that. I found a cheap Rogue RD80 that sounds much better, better action, and no buzz at all. Sure, it's laminate and practically bullet-proof but it did out-do the Mitchell MD-100 by a mile and for less $$... This thing can probably double as a flotation device or a weapon if needed. :-)

Complete Surprise

By #NAME?

from California

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I was checking out a nice $900 acoustic with no intention of buying anything, my buddy picked up a guitar to just jam along with what I was playing. I stopped.. thats a real nice sounding guitar! It was this Mitchell and I bought it on the spot! Having owned Takamine's over the years this guitar is as bright and clean as that $900 jobber I was jammin on. Tuners are good, didn't have to adjust or upgrade anything! I recommend one for anyone learning or performing. I paid more than what they are going for now but would've paid twice that for something this nice.

Pretty Good for the Price

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

After spending quite some time trying out a lot of guitars in the same price range trying to find the best for my money, this is what I chose. Although not as nice as other guitars, fot the price it cant be beat. It is a little light which turned me off, but played almost as nice as my buddy's Taylor. Not the best, but far from the worst, I would definantly recommend this guitar for beginners on a tight budget.

Rad guitar for broke beginners

By Manny

from Newark, Ohio

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is pretty good for the money. I bought it about 4-5 months ago and I love it! It's got a great sound to it, stays in tune really well and seems to be built pretty solid. The only complaint I have is that the action is pretty ridiculously high and it needs setup. I'm assuming that's something relatively normal with a new guitar, but that's really the only complaint I've got so far. It's helped me get my hand strenght up quicker, so that's nice. It's a great guitar for beginners or even the occasional open mic night failiure :) Pick one up at a store, try it out and tell me I'm wrong

Ah-Mazing.

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I just got this guitar today, and I literally can't put it down. It's in my lap, right now actually. I walked into my local guitar shop and poked around and landed on this. I sat down and within 15 minutes, knew this was what I wanted. No. NEEDED. The tone is warm and rich, and it's really light weight (which I like, I don't know about you). For the quality that you get, the price is undeniable. All around a beautiful guitar.

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar about a year ago for my daughter to learn on. trying out entry level guitars I was playing ,washburn , fenders , epiphones , yamaha , well just about everything out there in a small price range. I never heard of mitchel before but tried it and i tell you i was instantly surprised at the sound and playability, best out of the lot that i played that day. I still pick her guitar up once in a while and it still sounds and plays asom. we had great luck on this one. i would definatly recamend as a starer guitar

I love it :D

By Michelle

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Mitchell MD100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar for Christmas, with my brothers, and while we had earlier decided to purchase an Ibanez, but when I didn't see it, I was immediently taken to the "Acoustic Barn" thinger, and was shown guitars. Most of them were nice, and when we were shown 2 in my general price range I fell in love with it, the way it sounded, looked, the whole thing. I definitally reccomend this to anyone who wants to learn, but get a tuner with it!
