Beautiful but not loud...

The koa wood look and craftsmanship are outstanding. It has a remarkable beauty for a laminate. The sound is pretty good, but it is not as loud and resonant as I had hoped. I prefer the sound from my LU-11 soprano.

Craftsmanship

Beautifully made ukulele, with abalone inlay sitka spruce top and thick grain mahogany sides and back. The tuners are the only compromise in material. Also I would have enjoyed some literature , set of martin strings, and maybe a tuner in the deal. It was a gift and came without. Now I have to drive 40 miles to buy them! The sound is very nice. Overall the value is awesome!
