  • Awesome Amp-on-a-Strap

    I have used MiniAmps for a few years for practice and "acoustic" performance. It's always awkward dealing with the cable and upside-down controls. Mighty Moe puts the sound and controls in easy reach. It sounds good and it looks way more professional than the belt-clip amps. The sound is as good or better than 100% of the battery Minis out there.

    This little guy is just what the doctor ordered. It is super-lightweight, louder than an angry buzzard, comfortable and it fits in my case. The 9V battery lasts a long while and the price is right!

  • Mighty Moe is Mighty Mobile

    I've pulled my instruments out of the closet, dusted them off, and started putting them to good use (practice). Unfortunately, my amps never were designed for mobility, so I started looking for a portable amp I could take out to the back 40. Enter the Mighty Moe. I admit the only reason I really considered it was the patent video. That guy was really having fun! And at this stage of my life, I look like his older brother. Anyway, the whole idea is fantastic. I wish I had something like this in my busking days (my wife doesn't like me to say "panhandling"). The volume is great and the tone control, combined with any guitar controls, allow a wide range of sounds for my eclectic music tastes. And now I get to irritate the squirrels and neighbors rather than my family. The big negative is the his and background noise I get when I use the headphones, but that gould be either the ear buds I use or the effect from my hollow and semi-hollow body guitars. Now, if it only came in a different color .....
