Comments about Mighty Mite MM2929 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:
This neck provides nice jumbo frets for those that desire them, such as myself. The North American hardwood is top grade and the craftsmanship is as good as most Fender necks. The C shape is quite comfortable and the rosewood is nice and dark. The very light finish feels almost like a gunstock or linseed, very subtle finish indeed...smooth. The price is especially good for a new neck of this quality, except for one annoying thing. Perhaps it sat in a warehouse for a long, but the fret ends need to be filed. They won't cut your fingers, but you can expect that they will need to be filed. This is the third MM neck that I have had and the same issue existed for each of them. Perhaps roll the edges and charge slightly more? A little humidity will help, but probably not solve the issue. Other than that...it would get 5 stars.
