The MM2926 Stratocaster replacement neck is constructed of bird's eye maple with a rosewood fingerboard fitted with 22 jumbo frets. The guitar neck has been given an oil-based finish.
Since the 1970's Mighty Mite has manufactured custom and replacement guitar parts for luthiers, repairmen, and guitarists who can't wait to hot-rod their Fender Stratocaster or similar style guitar.
These Mighty Mite necks are fantastic. Most of us know the story. You find a great sounding strat for a great price, buy it and within weeks fall out of love with it because the neck is too thin or too thick or wide or whatever. Mighty mite saves the day. Instead of selling that great guitar, mighty mite allows you to make it feel as good as it sounds. And you can keep the old neck just in case you ever do decide to sell the guitar. The best part is, they are licensed by Fender so you know what you are going to get. Not like ebay where it might fit or maybe not. Also a great option if you just want to upgrade to a more fancy wood such as bird's eye maple.
I recently bought a new mm2926 strat neck for a project strat Im working on, Ive recently scalloped the frets for the malmsteen effect and now its amazing. I would definitly recommend this neck to any metalhead.5 stars
